H.E.A.R.T. - the Homing & Emergency Animal Rescue Team, was formed
in April 1996 by three animal lovers, Gill, Glenys
and Ange each of whom had many years experience in the
various aspects of animal welfare and rescue work.
 It is still run by Gill and
Ange; Glenys moved to Wales where she is still doing her bit!

A couple of years ago one
of our supporters contacted us offering a substantial amount of money the
only proviso was that it had to be spent on something tangible rather than
just lost in the melting pot.
As a result we now have a people carrier set
up with a cage and space for all our equipment so the animals can now be
transported safely and comfortably. It has also been signwritten so the
HEART name can be spread (for better or worse!) far and wide.
